About Best Friend Supply
The short version: Best Friend Supply was founded in 2026 in Florida by one person who got tired of junk-sorting marketplaces to find decent dog gear. One store, ten departments, five to seven products in each. The right gear, not all the gear.
A small store run carefully, with modern tools
Here's something most stores wouldn't tell you: AI agents help run this one. They draft the product write-ups, the guides, the emails, and the daily marketing. A human reviews and approves everything before it goes anywhere near you. That's not a confession, it's the operating model. It's how a one-person store keeps every page accurate, every claim checked, and every email worth opening, without a marketing department padding things out.
The human part is the point. Nothing publishes, posts, or sends without a person signing off on it. When you email us, a person answers.
What we promise
- Curation. Every category carries a handful of products we'd put on our own dog, not five thousand near-duplicates ranked by ad spend. If a product isn't pulling its weight, it gets cut.
- Honest claims. If we can't verify it, we don't say it. You'll see materials, measurements, and sizing charts here. You won't see borrowed authority, invented rankings, or a number we made up.
- Real reviews only. Our review sections are empty right now, and they'll stay empty until real customers leave real reviews on real orders. We will never seed, buy, or write our own. An empty review section is what honesty looks like on day one.
What we don't do
- No food, treats, or anything ingestible, yet. Edibles are regulated state by state, and we won't sell anything your dog swallows until we can do it properly. Gear only for now.
- No fake urgency. No countdown timers, no "only 2 left!" theater, no invented sales.
- No invented testimonials. See above. Ever.
Why we're weird about heat, water, and boat dogs
Florida teaches you things. It teaches you that pavement burns paws in the time it takes to check your phone, that a collar that stays soggy starts to smell by Tuesday, and that a dog on a boat needs a life jacket with a handle on it. Our travel and adventure department isn't a seasonal afterthought; it's the gear we understand best. If your dog's idea of a good day involves water, sand, or a dock, you're in the right store.
About the product art
One more honest note: the product illustrations you see across the site are exactly that, illustrations. They're drawn to honestly represent each product's shape, parts, and proportions. As real product photography lands, it drops in alongside the art. We'd rather show you a truthful drawing than a borrowed photo.
That's the whole story. No founding myth, no stock-photo team page, no warehouse tour. A new store, built carefully, that intends to earn the rest.
