Most leashes are fine until mile two, when the bare webbing starts working on your palm like a cheese grater. The Daily Mile fixes the part you actually touch: a neoprene-padded handle that stays comfortable through the whole walk, on a five-foot length that's long enough for sniff stops and short enough for sidewalk manners.
The hardware does its job quietly. A swivel-mounted clip keeps the lead from twisting itself into a corkscrew when your dog does a happy spin, and a small D-ring at the handle holds a waste-bag dispenser so you stop forgetting the bags (we've all been there). The webbing is thick double-layered nylon with box-stitched stress points, in colorways that match our Everyday Comfort Collar if your dog is into coordinated outfits.
Two widths: 5/8-inch for small dogs, 1-inch for everyone else. If your dog is a dedicated puller, start with the Easy Lead harness and clip this to it. The leash carries the walk; the harness handles the physics.
