BFS Deck Hand Traction Mat

A wet fiberglass deck is a skating rink for paws. Dogs know it, too, watch one splay out on a slick deck once and you'll see a dog that's having less fun than everyone else aboard. The Deck Hand fixes the footing: a ribbed, weighted mat that gives paws something to grip while the boat moves, so your dog can stand, turn, and settle like the deck is dry land.

It earns its keep off the water just as hard. Lay it in a truck bed to take the slide and the heat out of the ride, drop it at the boarding gate of the dock, or use it as the designated wait here spot at the fish-cleaning table. The textured top grips paws; the suction-grip underside keeps the mat itself from migrating across the deck.

Cleanup is the whole point of the material: hose it off, lean it against the rail, done. Salt, sand, and fish-day evidence rinse straight through the ribs, and the UV-stabilized surface is built to live outside all season without going brittle. At 48 by 36 inches there's room for a big dog to sprawl, or two medium dogs who haven't worked out the seating chart.
